The Sophisticated Sigma Epsilon chapter of Zeta Phi Beta first graced the campus with its presence on April 5, 1978 . For nearly 30 years now, the ladies of Sigma Epsilon have made a lasting impression on all they have come whom they've come in contact with. In recent years, the university has felt the unprecedented impact of Sigma Epsilon women collectively and individually as they have helped founded organizations including the Black Female Development Circle, Inc. and John T. Washington Honor Society. Sigma Epsilon women have been instrumental in starting events at UCF such as the Annual Miss Woman of Excellence Scholarship Pageant and the Black History Brain Bowl Competition. Zeta women are not only hard working for Zeta but their talents are shared with organizations at UCF and in the Orlando community including:
